Since becoming the CEO of AMMCOR in 2000, Dianne Davega has
shaped the company’s culture to place importance on community service. Whether
it’s on a local or national level, Dianne Davega believes that individuals and
corporations have a social responsibility to help others whenever possible.
Some community service events and contributions that AMMCOR
has participated in under Dianne Davega’s leadership
include the 2013 Annual Fund for the Special Olympics, ASPCA, and the Best
Friend’s Animal Sanctuary. Aside from these efforts, Dianne Davega has also
supported projects that provide goods directly to women in need. Recently,
AMMCOR held a clothing drive to collect clothing for the ladies of Laura’s
House. They also collected toys and delivered them to the children at the Camp
Pendleton Marine Base over Christmas.
While Dianne Davega has encouraged and led many projects
during her tenure at AMMCOR, her enthusiasm has influenced many of her
colleagues. In fact, a fellow member of the Board of Directors recently donated
matching contributions to help Courtney’s Sandcastle finish Construction. The
Courtney’s Sandcastle project is aimed to provide a safe and exciting play
environment for children throughout the San
Clemente community.
Though Dianne Davega understands the important role she
plays in shaping AMMCOR’s culture to champion
community service, she hopes that her passion for service will infect others as
well. “Community service isn’t just a one day or one-time contribution event,”
says Dianne Davega. “We should have a commitment to the cause we want to see
accomplished.”
Indeed, this attitude has
spread throughout AMMCOR, as the company has pledged to continue contributing
to many of the same organizations it did in 2012 throughout 2013. As the
company continues fostering the mentality of service, Dianne Davega has
noticed a parallel improvement in customer service. Whether it’s through
serving the community or serving clientele, Dianne Davega hopes that AMMCOR
will be recognized as a place of excellent service.
