Why Dianne Davega Believes HOAs are Still Needed

As the housing market continues its slow recovery in 2013, many people are asking whether homeowners associations are still needed or even relevant. AMMCOR CEO Dianne Davega is a firm proponent, because HOAs keep neighborhoods beautiful, attractive, and valuable. AMMCOR represents a broad portfolio that covers over 15,000 homes throughout Orange County. Dianne Davega oversees a team of certified managers who make decisions that ultimately benefit the area they serve.

Despite the dues, Dianne Davega argues that HOAs provide amenities and services that serve the greater good. Many of these offering are determined based on whether the home is in a rural or urban area and whether the property is a house, condominium, or town home. Some subdivisions will offer community clubhouses that include tennis courts and swimming pools. Dianne Davega believes that these advantages improve the quality of life by adding value to the neighborhood.

Furthermore, HOAs provide services such as tree removal, says Dianne Davega. It can cost hundreds to several thousands to have trees removed, especially in an urban area. However, some HOAs include this as an expendable service for homeowners. Those in condominiums can also take care of the repair options that HOAs offer, says Dianne Davega. Regardless, the level of services provided by an HOA is typically correlated with the cost of the dues.

As AMMCOR continues to be recognized as one of the most authoritative HOA entities in the San Clemente region, Dianne Davega insists that high levels of customer service and satisfaction are what make an HOA worth the extra dues. Dianne Davega works to ensure that her entire team is not only qualified to handle such a diverse portfolio of homes, but also enthused to service homeowners in whatever way possible. Dianne Davega’s hallmark achievement as a CEO is establishing AMMCOR as a place that provides quality services at a fair price.

They also collected toys and delivered them to the children at the Camp Pendleton Marine Base over Christmas.

In fact, a fellow member of the Board of Directors recently donated matching contributions to help Courtney’s Sandcastle finish Construction. The Courtney’s Sandcastle project is aimed to provide a safe and exciting play environment for children throughout the San Clemente community.

Though Dianne Davega understands the important role she plays in shaping AMMCOR’s culture to champion community service, she hopes that her passion for service will infect others as well. “Community service isn’t just a one day or one-time contribution event,” says Dianne Davega. “We should have a commitment to the cause we want to see accomplished.”

Indeed, this attitude has spread throughout AMMCOR, as the company has pledged to continue contributing to many of the same organizations it did in 2012 throughout 2013. As the company continues fostering the mentality of service, Dianne Davega has noticed a parallel improvement in customer service. Whether it’s through serving the community or serving clientele, Dianne Davega hopes that AMMCOR will be recognized as a place of excellent service.

Annual Toy Drive by AMMCOR

Some of the easiest charities and organizations to donate to are the ones designed to benefit children. This is because so many children are victims of circumstances beyond their control. So when it comes to children, many people are ready to give a few spare dollars or make a purchase to help bring smiles to an unknown child’s face.

AMMCOR is proud to begin an annual toy drive for children. The toy drive will go to benefit the children of service men and women of Camp Pendleton Marine Base. AMMCOR collects toys at their different AMMCOR offices and then eventually the toys are driven to Camp Pendleton where they are wrapped and delivered to the families who live on the base.

There are many different toy drives in a number of communities across America. Toy drives, mitten drives, and donations are a common way for corporations to help children in need in their communities. Like AMMCOR, many corporations will pick a specific place or group to help donate to. With AMMCOR, they are proud to help collect toys for the children of families living on the Marine Base.

AMMCOR’s donating of toys annually is also a way of showing support for military men and women and their families. AMMCOR knows that military service can be hard on families when a mother or father may be gone for weeks at a time. And even though a toy can’t replace a parent away from home, it is AMMCOR’s way of showing that they care for the trials and service of both the men and women in the armed services and their families as well.

AMMCOR is get involved in their community. Besides the toy drive, AMMCOR gets involved in a variety of other community events including sports teams. The toy drive and other community involvements are just AMMCOR’s way of giving back to the community that has supported them.
